The Long Beach Jerky Co was founded by Alex Naticchioni and Richie Beckman in July 2013. 30 years back, Alex’s grandfather “Gramps” perfected his recipe of beef jerky and made it once a year for the family to enjoy. As he got older, he helped Gramps with the meat slicing, the preparation and the cooking. Holding true to Gramps’ style, Long Beach Jerky only uses brisket and puts an emphasis on the importance of high quality meat. They stay true to the old fashioned, thick cut style, but one that won’t rip your teeth out. They use choice ingredients in the making of their products and feel that simple is better.
People’s Choice Beef Jerky
In 1929, John Bianchetti founded People’s Old Market in Downtown Los Angeles. His motive was simple: support his young family by doing what he knew best — quality meats. He started with nothing more than a few dollars and an indomitable will to succeed. His grandson now runs and owns the company.
